Cave des Producteurs de Montlouis.

Halfway between Tours and Amboise and located in the heart of vineyards, Montlouis has been an AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) since 1938 and spreads over 870 acres. Founded in 1961, the co-op cellar "Cave des Producteurs de Montlouis" with its 25 winegrowers, has now open a new reception area. Enjoy a guided visit through the maze of the picturesque cellar, a cave made of tufastone galleries, where about 2 million bottles of wine mature. You will hear the story of our Montlouis wine and learn the different stages in wine-making. At the end, a wine-tasting will enable you to enjoy the many aromas developed by the "chemin blanc", the unique grape variety of the "Montlouis".
